1 week to go!!!

Hello all,

This is Dana, and I am one week away from embarking on my very own Great American Adventure. My husband Bruce and I are leaving behind sleepy Milton New Jersey, our home for the past 30 years, in search of thrills, excitement, and a new home. We will be rolling hard in our Holiday Rambler 5th wheel camper and our new-used GMC pickup truck. We even have an iPod!

This is my first blog post ever, as it was suggested to me that I should keep a running journal of our trip. I will over the coming months (years???) use this as my forum to keep family, friends, and rogue strangers/stalkers up-to-date on our journey. I will share with all of you my reflections on the places we see, people we meet, food we eat, and thrills we find. Don't expect too much from me, in this my first foray into the world of blogging.

Please post on my message boards and share with us your thoughts on our trip. We will miss everyone greatly, and will be taking a part of all of you with us! Please keep in touch along the way, as we surely will.
